WIW - my MOTG ;)

Yesterday after work i needed to go out and grab a few finishing touches for our new bathroom and i had my son with me, thus, a mom on the go look was born!

Since i had a lot of tough elements going on already i thought it would be fun to contrast with more classic, ladylike flats instead of my normal go-to boots.

And i was having the worst hair day ever so by 5:00pm i couldn't take it anymore and just threw it up in a ponytail. ;)

Thanks for looking!

ETA: apparently a faux leather vest is a lot tougher than a faux leather jacket. We went to visit my husband at his job as well and he said after i left several men asked him if i drove a bike. XD

I could just see you pulling up on a bike in that outfit Nicki! Maybe it had something to do with the sculls on your top too. And the fringed bag, though I don't know too many biker chicks who wear colored denim and ballet flats. Actually I don't know many biker chicks at all, but I digress. Love the juxtaposition here of ladylike with tough. The black and grey items are perfect next to the bright cobalt of your jeans. This is a MOTG look with some serious sass and you look fab, hair and all!

OOoooooo oh yeah a very cute biker chick :) but then ballets make it MOTG with the hands free bag :)
    You look adorable...

Love the colour combination of cobalt blue and black - so chic (or is that "chick"?). Funny, I don't see biker chick here at all just super fab MOTG. The silver flats are fab with this and a wee bit unexpected, which I like.

I agree with TS: fab, fab MOTG. Like all the other kids saying " I want HER to be my Mom!"

I love this outfit! I like the way the boho fringe adds an earthy touch to the severity of the vest.

And you KNOW I dig those flats.

Great MOTG outfit! I love the blue and black together. I wish my hair looked that good on a "bad hair day" ;-)

What a fun look! There are definitely some "biker chick" elements, but blending them with the ladylike flats and flowy top and hair give it an overall friendly vibe. Terrific use of contrasts!

    Nice!

I love the cobalt (including the bracelet) with black. LOVE the bag, and the surprise of the silver quilted flats. Personally I am not a fan of sleeveless jacket with sleeveless shirt, I would love it with a gauzy sleeved shirt underneath but that might just be personal preference. All in all, super fun look for being out and about>

Cute combo of shirt and vest! And the cobalt jeans are perfect.

I used to have a motorcycle when I was in high school. My husband got one last year, and he's asked me to get my license again. Maybe next summer I will!

Awwww, you're like a little fluffy kitten wearing a skull collar! So cute, so tough, so. . . . wait for it. . . wait for it. . . ADORABLE!!!!!!

Your husband must be the envy of his office after your visit looking so tough-sweet. Great MOTG look.

I love the leather vest, and it is suitable all-year without the sleeves.

Your outfit really speaks to me. I just love the mix of colors and textures, and those shoes are the perfect finish. From one mom to another, well done!!
