WIW - The $25 Bailey 44 dress and one other.

Some of you might remember me mentioning scoring a Bailey 44 dress i have been stalking for a long time on Ebay for $25? This is it! A seller had it listed NWT's at $60 but had a best offer button so i offered $25 thinking they'd never accept and they did! Yay!

I wore it for a day of shopping with my best friend who came down from Alaska to visit me. She just about died in our intense heat. x.x

Pictures 4-6 is what i wore today. Again it's crazy hot and i don't even want to wear clothes! Not even my office's normally frigid a/c could keep the heat away today!

    Yeah, it's cold and rainy here. I would enjoy some heat, actually.

    It is craaaazy hot here in Michigan too (101 yesterday, 102 expected tomorrow), so I can relate.

    You look gorgeous in both dresses! The green is incredibly cute and I just love the yellow necklace with the second dress. Really makes the color pop. You have a real flair for accent colors and accessories!

    Your posts are a treat every single time. If there was a list "In my next life I'd like to return as (insert name here) from YLF", your name would be one of the top runners for my second incarnation.

    I'm happy you scored that dress and I'm sure the dress is happy too - it came to the right home. The handbag is gorgeous and so is your ring.
    Today's outfit is cool too (no pun intended), necklace, relaxed handbag, sandals et al.

    kimana517 - isn't the dress cool?! I love unexpected details! So happy to have been able to afford it. Sometimes i feel like you can only get special details like that at higher price points so i miss out on a lot. :-/

    Jonesy- Yeah our heat index has been pushing us in the 100s too. They said 108 yesterday. x.x i *think* it's supposed to "cool down" to 80s this weekend. *fingers crossed*

    Aida - Thanks! I have been working harder on figuring out how to do more things with my hair now that it's getting longer. In the past when i just let it be naturally curly it had a "do not touch when dry" rule burned in my brain (it frizzed out) so it's been kind of hard to get past that.
