Helllllooooooo! Playing WIW catch up over here :*

Hi guys! It's been awhile! These last couple months have been a bit busy for me and i haven't had time for proper forum participation. Not saying it's going to get any better with the holidays coming up but i have some time now so i thought i'd stop by! I hope you're all doing well and i'm excited to take a browse through the latest posts!

Here's a bit of what i've been wearing while i've been away.

Photos 1-2: Worn today! I really like that the ruffles on this tank are not only contrasting colors but also textures. The...deep red (because you guys always get after what i call burgundy lol :D ) is jersey knit fabric but the black is more like a satin...(ok, fine, sateen?).

Photos 3-5: I wore this to a wine tasting on Friday night. I was the fanciest one there haha. But that's ok! Remember how i lamenting about not buying some faux leather pants last end of winter? Got some! Yay! Love 'em.

Photos 6-7: I wore this also. I'm really in love with these boots right now. As soon as i saw them i only waited like....a few days to purchase. And i'm glad because now they seem to be sold out in black on DSW's website.

Photo 8: Oh, hey i wore this too. I found these jeans for $10 at Nordstrom Rack. Purple leopard print must frighten a lot of people. :D I've also been wearing this newsboy hat A LOT. So far no one has asked me for a newspaper. :(

Photo 9: I wore this to work. Yay!

Photo 10: I did not wear this to work. :D Found this skull print top at Marshall's for $14 though! I've seen Nasty Gal selling them for like $48. @_@ It's a polyester shirt dude.

Ok. I'll stop there. Thanks for looking and reading! Off to read and look at your posts!

I am head over heels for look #1!! Can I ask where the tank is from? Good to see you!!

  • Jenava replied 11 years ago

Super cute, as usual! I also love those boots. (-:

Excellent outfits, Nicole! I love #1's tank and the cute little jacket. And the 3-4-5 outfit's clutch is so gorgeous in that color! Really nice, thanks for sharing and the narrative was fun to read!

Mo - i found the tank at Goodwill. Sorry! :( The brand is "Studio Y" if that helps at all.

Yay! I always love seeing your WIWs. I just got a pair of waxed jeans, so I will be shamelessly copying photo #3.

  • Suz replied 11 years ago

So great to see you, Nicole. I always love your outfits. They're so carefully thought out in every detail. You look great!

I like every one, but #2 seems brilliant for a wine tasting. With your clutch and nails and the crystal accents, you seem to be paying the whole event a big compliment.

    LOVE the leopard jeans.

Always a pleasure to see your outfits and great style. You put together things I couldn't imagine styling and look fantastic every time.

I love all the details - the earring are amazing, the tights, the bag. Love them all.

Oh, I've missed your outfits! I can't decide which I like best - will have to study repeatedly. Don't be gone so long next time, okay? I love the playful edgy sassy sophistication of these looks.

We've missed you Nicole! Love all of these (of course!) but totally head over heels for the last outfit - this is how I wished I had dressed when I was your age!

  • Joy replied 11 years ago

It's such a treat to see your outfits again. My favorite is the last one. Every detail just looks so you and the attitude is Perfect.
Can you give us details on the clutch in number four?

  • Beth Ann replied 11 years ago

Terrific outfits, all! I'm particularly fond of the first two looks and the last. The clutch is fab, as well.

I'm a little shocked to really like a skull shirt, but I love the playful early 90's vibe.

    Glad to see you again.

What a fantastic set of looks! Each and everyone flawlessly proportioned and interesting in detail. So good to see you here again Nicole. I'm totally with you on the black-grey-burgundy thing, I'm so feeling those colors myself this season.

Yay, I really missed your looks! They are all so fun and so YOU. Those glasses are bananas!

All outfits are great, but I too really love #1.
I enjoy seeing your "rocker vibe" outfits.

and I love that snakeskin clutch

  • Sara L. replied 11 years ago

I love outfit #1 and the last one with the long flowy shirt! The wine-tasting outfit is great too and I'm surprised that you were the most dressed up since it seems like such perfect wine-tasting outfit - dressy but relaxed.

  • Claudia replied 11 years ago

Stellar as always! I am also liking your longer and darker tresses, very pretty!

Special love for the ruffled layered top in #1.

  • JuneBug replied 11 years ago

I love #1- #9 and #10 only on you! I couldn't carry off skulls! Love the accessorizing, the earrings with the collar detail on your top, the clutch and the cool ring, the cropped jackets, all of it! The attention to detail in each outfit is remarkable!

  • Ornella replied 11 years ago

Your WIWs are always such a treat Nicky! I feel so inspired by your creativity and playfulness.

  • cheryl replied 11 years ago

I missed your posts. Great outfits and I want those sunnies and the boots!

  • goldenpig replied 11 years ago

I worship your girlie rocker style!
It's hard to pick a fave, they are all so amazing, but I think #1/2 takes the cake! Love 3-5 too, especially the pretty neckline of the shirt in 5. Amazing boots too--#9 is just adorable.

  • JR replied 11 years ago

    I'm saving #1 and #6 for inspiration. :o)
