WIW - Coated blazer, mesh and ombre.

Worn to work today! This skirt has gotten a little too big for me in the waist (this seems to be the story of my life lately -_-) so i belted it a tad lower in an attempt to make a paper bag type waist out of it. Took a mesh tank i have and made it work appropriate with a cami underneath and a blazer over top!

Also i touched up my pink highlights last night. That was...an experience.

If you want to see more pictures or outfit details my blog is there to help. :)

Thanks for looking!

Touching up pink highlights? You are truly brave. I am not sure the skirt works perfectly as a paper bag waist, but the overall effect of the outfit is great. I will not pretend to sympathize with your too small in the waist problem though.

This is fab, Nicole! My highlights are now flourescent red so I am also admiring your hair. Love the whole look of the skirt with those booties.

Very pretty! I esp. like that jacket...it's a grey length for skirts and adds a bit of edge. I also like how the mesh tank is echo'd in the textured hosiery.

That jacket is gorgeous Nicole! I love the colours of the skirt but I'm not crazy about the waist (sorry). I can't imagine the trickiness to touching up pink hi-lights!

You look so cute with your expressions! Good idea to paper-bag the waist of the skirt, did it stay put all day? Love those patterned tights!

    So adorable! Love it!

You look charming! Love the collar and cuffs, the mesh top and lacy patterned tights, the ombre skirt with the ombre hair!!! I adore your eye for textural detail, Nicole --- you *match* par excellence, and yet end up not looking too matchy.

Another adorable ensemble! The colors here are just beautiful and it is such a pretty silhouette.

You nailed the paperbag effect. The skirt looks perfect another great original outfit.

shevia - i wasn't trying to say it was too small lol! Just that it's irritating whenever your clothes are too big OR too small. I think clothes should just shrink and expand with us. :)

Transcona Shannon - don't be sorry! I appreciate your honesty! :)

clearlyclaire - it actually did stay put all day! I was surprised because i do a lot of sitting and standing at my job.

ManidipaM - wow! thank you so much!

Thanks everyone else for your nice comments and advice!!
