WIW - Pink + Purple O.o

So i was originally going to throw a black cardigan on with this outfit but then i remembered liking Tanya's pink & purple color combo (except i think it was supposed to be different shades of purple? it looked like pink to me...) and decided to grab this purple one instead. I feel like my wardrobe is getting progressively darker and i've been wearing a lot more black than i used to so this was a bit of a switch up. Between the pink hair and this color combo i felt like a My Little Pony. Except a dragon claw still has my arm so obviously i'm a My Little Pony in a bit of distress.

More photos and where my clothes are from on my blog

Thanks for looking!

Just so you know, you do NOT look like My Little Pony (lol)! I really like the purple cardigan with this - spices it up even more.

This is such a cute outfit! I love the pink and purple together and adorable booties! Sorry I keep using the words cute and adorable but you do look darling:)

This outfit is way too tough around the edges to be My Little Pony. Maybe my little pony with a studded halter. I love how the stripes toughen up the pink and purple, and then that toughness is punctuated by the tough bracelets and shoes. Really fabulous!

This is super cool, Nicole. I can't help thinking it's a look that would fit right in on the streets of Japan. Cute and girly but also tough.

This is the kind of adorable that suggests you might have a bubblegum pink switchblade hidden in your hair.

(You'd need to put your hair in a ponytail with a little sweep of pink bangs if you wanted to drive the bronies wild!)

Cute outfit! I like hiw the sharp geometry of the black and white balances out the purple and pink.

I LOVE the pink hair!!! I missed that while I was away, Nicole. It's an extra accessory to play with each day.

I think you look like a doll in this outfit. Very fab :)

LOVE what GX said! Nicole, this is more Cardcaptor Sakura meets Buffy than My Little Pony, I can assure you! You need a wand -- or possibly a brolly in some sparkly hue or gryphon-headed walking stick. Ha!

Ok, seriously, you look great --- stylish, pretty sharp and a little sweet, sorta piquant. Like you'd be loads of fun with friends, and stop overfriendly strangers dead in their tracks... with a smirk!

So sweet yet edgy:). I'm loving the pink hair.

It's a great casual frock that can also be dressed up. The pink bow belt is perfect with this outfit and the shoes are TDF to the power of TDF.

Now over to your blog to research their origins.

ETA: I am surprised they are from Target. I just purchased a pair of sandals (wedge) from them, but have been warned from others that the quality is not great. What do you think about Target shoes?

So glad you chose the purple cardigan much less predictable than black & looks so good.

Oh, what an awesome outfit Nicole! Really love purple&pink together with the tough edges! Super-cool. (Yes, I wanted the skinnies to be more purple, but everyone thinks they are more of a pink, so that's ok).

Hahaha you guys! I am LOVING these comments. So. Awesome. XD

    1. I need to invest in a bubblegum pink switchblade immediately.

    2. I love that there was a Cardcaptor Sakura AND Buffy reference in the same sentence. Be still my heart.

Denise - They can be hit and miss. I have a pair of heels from Target that look great, 6 years later and they are 5" heels and yet the most comfortable heels that i own. I literally wore them once from 8am - 2am (work to night out) and i could of been in flats the entire day. Buuuuttt I also have bought shoes from there where this is not the case.

Angie & Deborah - glad you like my pink hair! I'm really enjoying it also! :)
